i am an absolutely shameless jewnicorn shipper. something about the combination of andrew garfield and jesse eisenberg just really warms my heart and brings a smile to my face. so that's what i'm looking for - the bambi to my thumper.
essentially? he has to be andrew garfield, he has to be between 24 and 28 years old, he has to be gay, and then there's the option of being miss peyton mason's older brother. i've already written him into her application and of course his name in this ad is already liam mason, however if you don't want a sibling pairing of carey and andrew, then i understand and you are free to make his name whatever you want.
now even if i call him gay in peyton's app, this can go one of two ways. both plots i find to be extremely precious, and it all sort of depends on how you want your andrew character to be in the beginning. the first one starts out with him straight (and questioning. i can easily edit this into pey's app) and the other starts out with him gay. are you ready for this? let's go!
the first plot goes a little something like this: andrew* is a straight male. or he thinks he is. recently, though, things with the ladies have been getting a little weird, and so has bonding time with his guy friends. it feels like the fire from one area is flowing into the other, and he's getting a little freaked out by it. after all, he's straight. he's had girlfriends. you can throw any other super straight thing you want to into his past. maybe he was engaged once, i don't know. but long story short, he was very very sure of his sexuality. and now he isn't. it sort of shakes a man to his core to know he may or may not have been living a lie this entire time. so he turns to alcohol for help.
now he would definitely know tobias through peyton. pey and tobi are really close through business and andrew is sort of a nosy brother anyway. so he ended up befriending tobi regardless (if he isn't pey's brother, we can work this out later). andrew wants to party and tobias doesn't mind being around the guy (a small infatuation? you betcha) so when he's invited to tag along he says that he will. he's able to control himself for the most part at parties now, so what's the big deal, right?
well we all know how this one ends up. tobias starts by drinking a little, but with pressure from (a very wasted) andrew on him, he ends up drinking a lot more than that. they end up finding a way back to one of their places (maybe they found a DD or maybe they took a bus there and take a bus back) and it starts innocent. tobias puts andrew to bed and andrew complains that tobi can't just leave him there like that, all alone. tobias is cuddly without drinking, and with it? how could he refuse a face like that? one thing leads to another, blah blah blah, they wake up together and awkwardly piece together that they slept together. now for andrew, this is a problem. he's straight. and for tobias, this is a problem. he's mostly in the closet and not a slut. andrew decides to shrug it off and say that they were drunk, and tobias just starts freaking out and has to choke down pills to calm himself. and they try to move on.
but they can't. tobias is someone who just gives off the air of needing to be protected, and for some reason, andrew wants to be the one protecting him. he starts getting a little possessive, really protective, and whenever tobi so much as coughs, he worries that it might be another attack. tobias is flattered, his infatuation deepens, but he knows andrew's gay - or he thinks he's certain of it. you can piece together the rest.
the second one deals a little bit more with tobias's fear of his sexuality. in the second idea, andrew is gay and very, very proud. he knows tobias through peyton but doesn't really associate with him since he's mainly pey's friend. but he really wants to get to know him, especially after all the gushing pey does about him. peyton, always tobi's guardian angel, agrees since she wants tobias to be with a good guy and she sort of has a knack for playing cupid. she introduces them. tobias is immediately aware of the fact that he's dealing with someone way out of his league, and andrew has heard enough about tobias from peyton to know that he just got introduced to someone he could potentially like a lot.
the way i see it in my head is this - andrew becomes tobias's social yoda. he tries to get him to be more outgoing - to go to parties and act drunk but not be drunk, to do something new, to be a little crazy. he tries to teach him to be more spontaneous and crazy, and tobias has never done anything like it before. along the way, they just fall for each other and it's very cute and cozy but neither one is really sure of how to approach the other (tobi because he's awkward and andrew because he doesn't know how tobias will react/doesn't know tobi is gay). sexual tension is cute to me and it's definitely there, but they don't know how to go about it. then andrew pushes tobias a little too far and takes him to a party of strangers (i actually have a scene written out that i scribbled down in class one day if you want to read it). tobias has a panic attack, andrew has to calm him down, and since tobi has never really had an attack in front of him, andrew is afraid that he won't be able to calm him down. eventually, though, cute things transpire and andrew is able to get his friend to chill out, they go back to one of their places to just hang out, and it comes out that they are both very interested in one another and all is cute and we can work out more later if you want but it's adorable.
anyway, these are just ideas. i really love the idea of both and i'll admit it - i'm a crazy jewnicorn shipper. so if you're interested, please contact me about it! i've been wanting to do this plot for ages but no one has picked it up. we can work out little details if you want to do it at all. c: thanks if you read all this! i know it's long.
*note - the character's name doesn't have to be andrew (i really would prefer liam), i'm just using it for the sake of making this easy to type so i don't have to put (or whatever you want to name him) whenever i mention lee's name.
