Fairport, Massachusetts was always a fishing town, full of sturdy, hardworking folk. It all changed in 1992 when the Essex hotel was built on this tiny South Shore coastal town. Suddenly it was being featured in magazines as a resort town, and the homes of blue collars families started becoming repossessed and renovated as the property taxes on their homes began to slowly raise. Now it's 2011 and the divide is very clear between the wealthy new residents and the stubborn few working class families that still remain. As neighborhood associations are clamoring for the low-income areas to be wiped out, the tensions run high between the young people of Fairport's wealthy North Side and poor South Side. Gangs are forming, and a lot more than parties are going on on the sugary white sand of Nauset Beach.
So where do your loyalties lie? Are you one of the North Side Sperrys, out to get the white trash out of your town? Or are you a South Side Bolt, determined not to let a bunch of yuppies push you around? Maybe you're just stuck in the middle, trying to make sense of a world that is so suddenly divided. Either way, you're all trying to hang on to What Little Remains..[/align]
